The Circa 1799 Barn is situated on 10 acres, surrounded by a 300 acre dairy farm... Across the road (the property spans both sides of a very quiet dirt road) there are horse paddocks (and horses) and plenty of parking. There is also a finished building where children can play under the supervision of a sitter.

A favorite spot for the wedding ceremony is under the large maples in front of the barn. An enclosed kitchen garden makes a serene spot where you can slip away from the crowd. The barn has running water, electric, and room for tables or a large dance floor (it is recommended that at least one tent be added for additional room). The rental rate is $4,500 to $5,500, depending on the size of the gathering, and includes the use of the first floor of the house by the wedding party. Larger events can be accommodated at additional cost and with the use of additional tents. The house, which is a private home, is generally not available for overnight stays but exceptions have been made in certain cases.

There are many excellent caters in the area and lodging that ranges from inexpensive motels to sumptuous B&B's.
